France are not ruling out Thierry Henry as a possible replacement for Didier Deschamps. Deschamps’ future has been in the news again after France crashed out of the Euro 2024 semi-finals football. Leaving Les Bleus short of their dream of winning European glory.

However, the French Football Federation still trusts ‘Dede’ to continue in his role. With the coach contracted until mid-2026 or until the end of the next World Cup UFABET

However, Zinedine Zidane is expected to be one of the frontrunners to take over from Deschamps. But French Football Federation president Philippe Diallo has hinted. That the club are not ruling out Henry as a possible replacement. Although everything has to go through the process.

“When I appointed Henry (as coach of the Under-21s and Under-23s for the Olympics), many people questioned his previous performances. I had confidence in him and he is proving it.” Diallo said.

“We have one more game (in the gold medal match against Spain), another step to take and next year is the Under-21 Euros. We have to get each step done before we can talk about that.”

For Henry, he took over as head coach of the French U-21 team in 2023 and led the “Les Bleus” to compete in the 2024 Olympic Games hosted by France. But in the final, they lost to Spain in extra time 5-3, and only won the silver medal.
