Ian Ladyman has claimed that new Manchester United signing Matheus Cunha will outshine Liverpool’s Florian Wirtz in the Premier League next season.

On the latest episode of the Mail’s สมัคร UFABET วันนี้ รับเครดิตฟรีสำหรับสมาชิกใหม่ podcast, the debate was held over. Which of the new attacking players Rayan Cherki, Cunha and Wirtz would make the biggest impact. Ladyman went with Cunha because of his experience in the league.

Cunha joined from Wolves for £62.5m. While Wirtz was brought in from Leverkusen for a much more expensive £116m. “Cunha is the only one with Premier League experience, he should adapt quicker, even though United don’t look that good yet.

“Wirtz should have a tough first month or two. He will be pressed quickly, he will be pushed around a lot, which is very different to the Bundesliga. The game here is faster and more intense.” Cunha scored 15 goals and provided six assists in 33 games for Wolves last season, but former Premier League referee Mark Clattenburg disagrees.

He thinks Wirtz will adapt well, playing with a more organised team and with quality around him. “The Bundesliga is just as intense. I’ve refereed German football, and German players tend to adapt quickly. Also, referees these days are more protective of technical players. They don’t let them get kicked off as easily as they used to,” Clattenburg said.

Co- host Gordon Smart had his own take, backing Rayan Cherki, who joined City from Lyon for just £34m and has eight goals and 11 assists in Ligue 1 last season. “I think Cherki will make a splash. I watched him in the Club World Cup and he’s got something special about him,” Smart said.
